Default Movin' on and movin' up...

sometimes, it just has to be done.

I'm handing my '04 XLT I lovingly named The Old Bucket (after the nickname for the Galactica in the new BSG series) to my old man to help him out on his costs now that he's retired.

I'm now rolling a '13 FX2 5.0. It's love at first drive, just like with the Old Bucket.

Thanks for the help over the past years guys!

Nice! Congrats! But, I would have given my old man the 13 instead of 04. He he!

Congrats, raduque! I'm glad to hear that you're already in love with the new rig. When do we get to see pictures?

Well, if the Old Bucket had the power, toys and mileage of the '13, I would have kept it instead too! But, she has 138,000 miles, a few dings and dents, and I know my dad will not drive it near as hard as I do. Plus the new one has a Ford CPO 7y/100k warranty.

I do love my old truck, and that's why I'm giving it to my dad instead of selling it. That way, I know she will still be taken care of.

Finally got out from behind the wheel long enough to snap some next to my 04.

Looks like a pretty sweet upgrade, raduque! Thanks for tearing yourself away from the truck for long enough to share those pics with us.
