Blown, do you recall what size wrench I need to take off the factory fan?

I had used a channel lock pliers to remove the fan when I installed the blower, surprisingly was not that tight though I have a huge one. TWSS! Bought a wrench for it, was too large and now hangs on my peg board..

So skimmed a few threads and looking at the wiring side of it. I have the Ford pigtails but it doesn't appear they are labeled for polarity, does it matter where the wires are landed? I am assuming no since there isn't much mention of it. Wanting to find out as I wanted to solder some things together.

I wired up a ford windstar dual e-fan a few months ago on my 04 F150 using a hayden controller and a couple relays. Still works great, comes on at around 185 and also comes on whenever I have the AC on. AC has been great ever since. I think the whole setup was around $100 for the fan (junkyard), controller (PepBoys), relays at a local autoparts store, and the wire and connectors. I posted the entire build to include a wiring diagram that worked like it was supposed to. Think I posted the build back in July.
Good luck.

Default 15-16 F-150-Fan Module FL3Z8C607A in a 04-08 f150

Has anyone looked into these fans on our trucks? They are much cheaper online than the factory 10-14 units. I might have to look under the hood at the dimensions unless someone has already done so.

Polarity here for OEM connectors: https://www.f150forum.com/f4/motorcr...3/#post3275617

Upper hose is 1-3/4 and lower is 1-1/2. Going with lower for cleaner wiring, had to order this part, I have a 1-3/4 coolant bracket/sensor if someone is interested.
