Motorcraft, Centric, ACDelco or Power Stop hubs and rotors
I can get the Motorcraft replacement hub and rotor one piece replacement from Rockauto for $107.79/each, the Centric 12165098 for $66.89, the ACDelco 18A1623A for $81.79 or the Power Stop drilled/slotted for $114.89.
Any of you guys have thoughts on these? I'm really just trying to get 2-3 years out of this truck for my son. It is a 2004 F150 RWD STX Supercab. Any thoughts or input are greatly appreciated.
I do realize by reading through the posts that I need a new spindle nut and have to torque it to 295ft/lbs and I will do so with a 36mm socket and a Harbor Freight Torque wrench.
Thanks

Since my goal is only getting 3 years out of the truck I just didn't know if I could get 3 years out of the ACDelco and save $30 a hub. I have read mixed results about the centrics. Some have had good luck others not so much. I would rather change them once and be done. He should put about 30,000 miles on it over the next three years.
