Default Motocraft vs Durolast Fuel Filter

Changing my fuel filter today and Autozone no longer stocks the motocraft fuel filter. They only carry the Durolast replacement. I'm anxious to do it today because I have the time, but I also see lots of discussion around "only use motocraft". Any thoughts on this for a fuel filter? I can get the motocraft online if I don't mind waiting a few days. But if I can be convinced its not a big deal either way, I may just knock it out today.

I would just use that autozone one, because it's a consumable part. Your going to change it again anyway.......................

I know my Walmart always stocks my Motorcraft Fl820s. And they are reasonably priced

Go to the dealer. They are work the extra money. I had this Fram on my Ranger that the PO put on it. The glue came holding the media to the housing broke loose. It made for a really fun time driving it.

Fram sucks. Everyone knows that. Wix is a perfectly good replacement other than OEM.

I agree with that. WIX makes great products. In fact, I've got a box of WIX oil filters sitting here to use over my FL820S's.
