Default Morimoto Fog Lights in an 06?

Recently purchased a set of Morimoto fog lights knowing they don't properly fit my 06.

Does anybody have a link to the thread where one guy modified his stock buckets slightly to make them work?

My fog lights took longer to come in than I thought and I lost the post.

I just installed these in my 06. I did what the link did above (great help) using the same angle bracket.

You do however DO NOT need to use the JB weld if you don't want to. I was able to drill a hole through the back of the housing to mount the L bracket using a machine screw and a nylon locking nut. You just need to flip the L-bracket 180 degrees from how the JB Weld guy did it and it will work and clear the fog light inside.

Came out awesome, these lights are great.

Best picture I have of mine right now. Ended up finding an old fog light bucket and just cut the adjusting screw mount off and JB welded it on the opposite side. Been issue free for months haha
