Default More Power at lower RPM?

I am wondering if there is anyway to make it so instead of the power 'hitting' at 3500 rpms if I could somehow change it so it kicks in earlier. My truck seems to kind of take off when it hits 3500-4k rpm, but anything before that just seems like it's working too hard to accelerate. It goes, doesn't buck or jerk or anything..just slow. Anyone know if like an edge evo would fix this? Sorry if it seems dumb...still new to re-gearing or tweaking performance.

Only way would be to add either a supercharger or turbo. The evo will kind of help but only because your increasing overall horspower, so youll have more hp in the 2500 rpm range but still your going to peak around 3500-4000.

Well I have a flowmaster exhaust already. What K&N did you get? Edge Eco?

Replace your 3valve with the older 2valve 5.4.
Instead of peak torque at 3750 rpm you''ll have it at 2500 rpm.
Problem solved.

You could change your rear end gears...
