Monster transmission 4r75w input
Hey all I was just posting this for some quick input. I just bought a heavy duty 4r75w and now it seems the more I look into this company I'm really starting to find some mixed reviews.
I paid 2320 for a heavy duty trans, new torque converter, cooler and 12 quarts of synthetic.
I feel this price is pretty reasonable however I want to know if this thing is actually going to be reliable and not **** the bed. I want to figure this out as I just placed my order yesterday and I'm sure it can still be cancelled or whatever but I just want input from some 4r75 guys before I jump to conclusions that this thing will be no good.
Any kind of help would be awesome thanks everyone

If that tranny is new and that price is the installed quote, then you got yourself a really good deal.... There's not too much that can get screwed up when it's all new parts. Now, if this company is gonna dive into the tranny and start messing with the valve body and clutch packs, then I would reserve a bit of skepticism.
I personally would update the clutch pack plates to a Kevlar material, but for that price, I would just plan on doing it later and make sure a competent shop can handle that caliber of work...
Tranny's are not that hard to service, they are just tedious, time consuming, and should not be rushed.
