Got my 05 from the auction in june this year. Found driver side spring broken when doing a brake job. My friend installed the blue monroe econo for me, have had no issues since. On level ground it seems like it sits about the same height.

Whats the downside of not replacing in pairs?

Finally installed the other side after its been sittin in a box from amazon for 4 months. Never bothered to check the bag that has the 3 mount nuts and when i went to install saw 2 of them were ovalized and only hand turned two threads. Didnt have the luxury of waiting to get new nuts so put in a little elbow grease and torqued them down... The bolts were hot and smoking after! Anyone else have experience getting defective fasteners with their monroes?

Those were probably the correct nuts. Oval nuts are fairly common as a torque prevailing feature. So you can rest easy knowing they won't come off.
