Moisture in foglight. How can i get rid of the fogging!
So I guess somehow some water got into my fog light and ever since then has been fogging up. Anyone have a solution to this problem besides buying a replacement?

Take out the bulb and completely dry out the housing. A hair dryer would be best but you can probably just use compressed air as well. Then make sure you dont have any obvious defects in the housing such as cracks/holes. Next, check the bulb and make sure its seated 100% correctly in the housing. If its not twisted just right and tight, it will allow moisture in. This usually happens when people put aftermarket bulbs in (myself included). The light bulb itself has a orange o-ring on it so make sure that is in good shape. Also check the lens of the foglight and check to see if it is fine and not cracked. Other than that, they should be sealed pretty good.

When I got my truck it the driver side fod light use to get water in it every time it rained I looked at it and noticed a crack from the light socket area across the top to the seal at the front lens. A little 2 part epoxy and compressed air do dry it put and I have had no problems since
