Looking for helpful tips for cheap mods, not looking for much horsepower. I just want a little to have when i need it, anything would be helpful. I have everything stock except my straight pipes and i'm getting an edge evolution programmer. Not looking to get into cams and that stuff.

Add a CAI when u get ur programmer, and those are probably the cheapest group of mods you'll buy. If u have any leftover money, look into getting a custom tune.

Yes, it's removing the factory restricted tube from the filter box to the truck fender. If I remember correctly, there's a 2.25" opening from the fender opening to a 2.5" hole in the filter box. People have modified PVC tubing or gone to an autoparts store to get a flexible air tube. Of course people debate the actual benefits, but I've done it. Even if the benefit is minimal, it's still a benefit. Think I paid $15 to do it.
