My husband just had all the spark plugs and a sensor replaced on 12/30/10 when his 05 F1 (5.4L V8) did not accelerate as he stepped on gas going up a hill. Just the this past Friday, it seemed to be doing the same thing again, but a new twist was that it was it was idling, it very shaky. Nothing else was wrong, no over heating or electrical issues. The mechanic is focusing on a misfire with cylinder #6. Can anyone offer some insight if this is a common problem with this truck?

giving you a a heads up here......at the right there is a search the forum thing. hit that and type in misfire and then read away. there is so much information out there that you can relate to problems others are having cuz this issue is very common. read away. then if you have questions ask away.but someone out there has and is going through with what you are going through.
