I just crawled under my truck to have a look at the cats, it appears they have been replaced before, my truck is and 05 with a build date of 11/04, so it should have the two cats per side and the resonators behind the cats, but all I have are two cats, part number 99356hm, which is a magnaflow unit... funny they've been replaced and need it again... plugs and coils have been changed... I checked the injectors with a rod they were all making the same rhythmic tick... all ohmed out between 18-21...any thoughts?

There is a parallel thread that you might get lots of benefit out of here: https://www.f150forum.com/f4/05-5-4l...0-help-365052/

Yea, I'd looked that thread over too... think I ought to go ahead and change the plugs too even though they were changed not too long ago?

You could pull a couple of the easy ones and see what they look like. See how burnt the electrode is and how much carbon is built up on them?

OK, so my converters come in today, I got my o2 sensors two days ago and I'm going to try to put it all together this evening... one question, when I get it finished... should I reset the computer by touching negative and positive terminals or just clear the code with my Bluetooth obd scanner with torque app?

Just as a precaution toy should disconnect the battery while doing the work. That alone may drain the battery and need to do the relearn.

Has the truck been tuned? What gear is it in when it gets to redline? I believe that's normal though...

Edit: this is video of my 2007 5.4L Supercrew FX4 with 35x12.5 Nitto Trails. http://s1337.photobucket.com/user/ta...naigf.mp4.html

I would say shift R's are not out of line. Maybe more once the Cam error codes are taken care of. Trying to push the accel through the floorboard, my ole '04 will shift out of fist near 5400 and second around 5200. I've never understood that difference, but if it is still developing torque I do not know what the limit would be.

Shifting funny? I'd be more worried about how 'quickly' it settles down in the next gear.

Your O2 sensor signals are "BEAUTIFUL". And that P0356 should be no sweat. May cost you $25 bucks for a replacement of those snap plugs on top of # 6 COP.
Good job!
