The fuel filter was changed when i changed the plugs when this all started as well as oil. Believe it or not outside of the way the engine is running and causing it to make the sad noises it is making, I am not hearing any noise related to what every one is hearing. I have listened to the videos and mine is rather normal as far as noise, that is the scary part. Like I said outside of the noise coming from running bad there is no abnormal noise, that is what is making it so frustrating in trying to diagnose.

Did you check the FPDM or not? Seems to be an overlooked part when there are fuel system faults.

Nothing has been changed just before this started to happen. The plugs are newish and look in good condition. Fuel filter has 5000 miles on it. I have checked for vacuum leaks through a mechanics stethiscope, spraying ether and a vacuum gauge. Everything seems normal. I have also put in fuel injector cleaner and ran seafoam through (both in the tank and through the brake booster line). Anybody have any further ideas?
i had a rough idle/misfire and decided to change the plugs and found they were already changed some time ago but they used cheap champions for replacements check out these pics , notice the gaps and burned off electrode!

at first it ran really rough after plug replacement but then i noticed 3 of the cops were not making a good connection. one clip was broke and little bits of rubber seal were keeeping the other 2 from staying on all the way.
after they were all on properly it ran smoothly. no more rough idle, except for one cold morning start and take off before it was warm its been running pretty smotthly since.

I had pepboys change my plugs. I just bought the truck. Had it two weeks. Started out, hi way cruise on. Started up a hill. Thud. Almost like it needed to come out of od. And gain rpm. I gave it more gas cleared up. Thought well probably needs a tune up.No biggie. I drive 6 miles round trip to work. Country road. 30-45 mph! Never putting the truck in that position. I go to town missing on incline. Xmas eve! Take off from light on hi way. I get to 3000 rpm. Falls flat on its nose. Like u pulled 2 plugs off of it. Never been right since. Cold start runs good little miss.warms up to normal temp. Wont even idle. ( random miss fire, bank 1 lean.yadah yadah yadah.. ) replaced everything computer said. No help! Its at the dealership getting hooked up. Not the one i bought it at either. GATES GMC martinsville, indiana do not buy a car there. They new it was screwed up will not return or take my calls.i get a text message from car sales man. Uh just bring up here. It wont get it self out of the way. No idea whats going on with it. Im 31 yrs old and have worked on cars for 20. I know enough and am able to do what ever. But with no computer im at a dead end. And i cant afford to throw parts @ it. All sensors are like $100. Any thing will help. Will for sure post results.

One other thing. The plug location design and coils are all very poorly designed. Thats awful. I would be ashamed if i ok 'd that for production. I wonder if you put wires off a 6.0 vortech would be better than the boot.
