Default Mirror swap

I need some info on a mirror swap, went through old threads but couldn't find everything I needed.

My mom has a 2007 XLT with power mirrors without blinkers. The chrome caps on them keep coming off and don't really look that sweet so we were wondering about putting 09+ mirrors on it which brings me to my main questions

1. I saw somewhere the power function plugs right up on them, it's plug and play. Is the blinkers, and the part that moves the blinker all one plug or is it two plugs.
2. If it is plug and play for the power part, and the blinker is on a separate switch, can't I just wire the turn signals into the trailer harness.

If anybody that's done this could help me out it would be awesome!!

Ya but no heat. Unless you have it now. I know my xlt didn't come with it. How ever if it dose have a defrost back window it might be there. Other wise to get heat to work you need a new fuse box a switch and run a wire. ( i think)

Ok, Not really concerned about the heat anyway, but the signals are there

I have a set of xlt mirrors for sale no signals but would be half that price. Then youd just have to buy some chrome caps. Just thought id offer. Mine are "ford" brand

Well we put chrome caps on these and they keep getting knocked off in parking lots which is why I'm looking to redo them.
