Default Military tires

i guess people are putting military and industrial tires on their trucks and it seems like a good idea and i like the way the tread looks so i was thinking of doing it....i have 18 inch rockstars and had some questions.....will they fit i have a 6 inch lift and also what kind of mileage can i expect? i know ride quality will probably be bad but i mean my tires now dont ride that well so its no really a big deal....any information would be nice...thanks

I had 36 x 16.5 on my mud truck. Great in the mud not bad on the road but I didn't drive on the road much. Sold them after more lift and went with 39.5 Boggers.

In my opinion I'd say that industrial tires would not be suited for highway use and military tires, my military time served was back in the 70's, flight line tread as we called them don't have much of a tread design so they won't pick up rocks in the tread and drop them where a jet engine could suck them in. The guys that are currently in the service now will have a comment as to what the tread looks like on the trucks now.
