But do you think that the truck is worth upgrading to or just keep and fix mine? I just feel like I should get rid of mine because it need new ball joints and tie rod ends, rear window leaks when it rains hard, the power window motor is going bad, sometimes has troubles starting, and the miles are starting to get pretty high (167k). It has the link in the OP if you didnt notice.

Tough to say for sure. New one doesn't have much less miles (about 31,000). Some people have trucks of your year with over 300,000 while others get rid of them before they have your mileage. Different things can go out at different times for different people. Depends on maintenance, how much the truck is put through, and some is just pure luck. I'm prejudice to the 04-08 body styles but I like them all. It depends mostly on personal preference. Ball joints and tie rod ends weren't too much on my truck though.

Yeah , I can do it myself for like $200 but no sense putting money into it before I sell it. But I love the 04-08 body style, thats why I am looking to upgrade I would be nice to lift and get new tires and wheels for my truck. Should I do that? lol. Will that increase the value?

Lol. Again it's more of personal preference. If you have sentimental value with your truck then keep it. If not sell it and upgrade to the body style you love. As far as value increase dealerships when they're selling used lifted vehicles seem to think it doubles their value! So heck! Lift, rims, tires, then sell for $15,000 and you're good right??? Dealerships amaze me. Haha

You probably find on with less miles if you look hard enough.

Well it can go either way with these engines.... But i think itll be a good truck if it doesnt tick really loud. We have 2 5.4s in our family an 04 130,000 mi and my 07 that got the engine rebuilt at 177,000 not because it needed it but because my seller chose to. Both have been problem free tho
