I was checking out the site this morning and saw they dropped the truck for a thanksgiving sale to 26,495. I initially was looking at going for 27 so this is gold. I am going to try to get a hold of them today just to throw down a 100 deposit to hold it. Tomorrow i will hit up my bank to see if they can give me a better interst rate on a 15k loan v the used vehicle rate that ford is providing.

I don't know what the warranty is on the 06s. My 04 was 36k. Ask them if it is certified? that would give you 6yrs/75k warranty. When we bought our minivan, the dealer got it certified for us. Congrats!! on your loan approval and good luck?

Glock, Awesome that they dropped the price, just make sure that you keep your guard up and that they don't pad it back into the price somewhere down the line, e.g. higher interest rate, rustproofing, or VIN etching. Just remember, that you deserve a price that you are happy with and is fair to you, and that allow the dealership a nominal commission. But of course since they dropped the price once already, I would see how low you can get them (hint, hint, 25K!...hey, the worst they can do is say, "no", but you'll never know if you don't ask (i.e. "Tell") them right?!).

Spears, I read thru that and it's a very good site. All of us shopping for a new/used vehicle should take note of this.
