You gotta get a long pair of needle nose pliers...then just use the lisle tool to crush the remaining porcelain. If you can pull up the porcelain with the pliers then thats better. Otherwise, you will have to just break some of it off then vacuum it out before pulling out the tip that is still in there. I pulled out the middle stick then just used the extractor and broke through the porcelain.

Nah nah...you gotta use the long needle nose pliers to pluck out the middle copper piece...then you can go to work on the extra porcelain. I did mine and had 1 break exactly like you described...

Yes needle nose pliers, same happened to me. And then there was so much porcelain left the tool couldnt push far enough down so i used a 1/4 porcelain drill bit and drilled out a 1/4 inch of porcelain then had to grind off a good amount off the top of the puller tool to drive it far enough down into the tip along with lock tight and let it sit for a few hours and worked like a charm

Mine was #3 and you can feel safe about this bc i somehow got in touch with the guy who designed the tool and told him my problem and he walked me through these steps. You will be able to tell if you get a good bite down into the tip . Get abt 3 turns with the left turning puller tool. Good luck

Oh and i used vice grips on the end of the long drill bit and just pushed down and turned it a little at a time.
