Default mbrp exhaust

im trying to find a good dual exhaust for my truck the problem is i have an after market hitch(curt to be specific) and i think running the pipes straight out the back would not work with the hitch so im looking at mbrps exhaust that exits at a 45 degree angle but im wanting to know how loud it is i dont want anything crazy loud just good sound also if any one has an under side pic of thier exhaust coming out the back so i could see if it would be possible to run them that way i would be very appriciative

2007 lariat screw.....si/so mbrp, it's got just enough rumble but nothing crazy. Super easy install, hard part was removing the stock system. Really enjoy.

^ X2, I bought the xp series si/so and it sounds so much better than any other exhaust that I have ever had on any of my trucks. It's a really solid system including stainless clamps and a lifetime warranty. Real low tone with a little rasp when you get on it. Made my truck sound like a mustang.

Are you trying to just buy a system online and then put it on yourself?? If not go to a local exhaust shop with the MBRP muffler and tell them what you want and they can easily fit the piping around your hitch so it can go straight out the back.

Good point. Although worse comes to worst, you could get one and if it doesnt work have a shop alter it to fit but if you go that way, you might as well just have them do it to begin with. I see what you are saying though. I think most are made to fit around the hitch. If you tow a lot though and you have the pipes coming straight out the back, the sound will be reverberated right back at the cab (pending you tow an enclosed trailer or camper). Just food for thought.
