Are you sure that you have an exhaust leak at the manifold? I thought I did and it ended up being a bad COP. I know it's not full proof but might want to try soapy water and a spray bottle.

I think he means to check for a leaking manifold. Not sure how well that would work on such a hot surface.

Ah...yes I doubt that would work well. I know it has to be a manifold leak. The sound is unmistakable.

Nope mine. Was the manifold now I have either a phaser tick or a bad Vct valve (something like that) hopefully when I go to my cousins shop Tomorrow I'll pull #3 and make sure it's tight

Is the number 3 plug on passenger side from fan to fire wall or firewall to fan or driver side

#3 is on the passenger side from the fan to the firewall.

Let us know when you check the plug torque what you find. Since we did m plugs and found that, I've seen 2 different 5.4 3v with same issue...
