Default Magnaflow Muffler

I want to add on a Magnaflow muffler to my truck just to increase the sound and volume of the truck. What is the part number of the stock muffler so I could look up the new magnaflow part online? Where would you suggest buying it from? would local muffler shop be the best bet? thanks

you would want one that is 2.5" in and 2.5" out. it don't have to be exact, just some pipe added in and you would be set, considering the stock muffler is like 3 feet long, lol

check the link in my sig.
They make 14", 18", 22" i think. I went with 18". Nice sound, sounds like a truck should sound stock coming from the factory in my opinon. 0 cab drone while cruising. Sounds nice while accelerating, sounds nice on the outside as well with windows down. Not obnoxious in anyway. I am happy with the 18". I paid 85 shipped to my door for the muffler, and had it installed by a local muffler shop. Check my album and link. let me know if you have anyother questions.

Magnaflow is notorious for not being "obnoxiouse" in the sound department.
My local muffler shop was a flowmaster distributer and when i said i would bring in a magnaflow he said no prob, "they perform way better than flowmaster anyway, only reason i dont carry them is cause everyone around here wants crazy loud exhausts, but i'll weld it on for you"

I cant remember now man. I know I got everything, (muffler, install, and tips) for less than 300 combined. Tips were $30 each, muffler was 85, so im guessing install was like 150??? Ill try to find my receipt

Oh yeah, as far as performance, its seems to be doing the job...I have intake, exhaust, and programmer now, my truck is way, way faster than stock was. I get about 14 in the city, and about 18 on the highway, stock was about 17...So about 1mpg increase with all 3. I need custom tunes for the intake though, im hoping that will bump me to 19 mpgs highway...If not, oh well, atleast my 4x4 is not a slow dog running around town or passing on the highway. It gets up and goes no problem, also has no problems smoking the tires.

Thanks I'm probably gonna get the 4" x 9" 18" with the single exit and keep my stock exhaust set up, i've got a chrome exhaust tip already on it. your truck sounds sweet, i want to get mine soon
