lowering advice
need a little input on lowering my truck a couple of inches. somewhat disabled and have trouble getting in the darn thing so thinking lowering will help.
rough rider in tampa says they'll cut a half coil in the front and put a shackle kit on the rear to get it down about 2".
cutting coils is something we used to do over 50 years ago. as I remember,
it didn't work out well in the long run as the coils would lose some of there
resilience over time.
they claim the ride will be as good as stock.
any of you guys done this? need any input I can get as it's either do it or get rid of the truck. and I dang sure don't want to do that. feel like I'm damned if I do and damned if I don't.
one thing about it, it sure would be cheaper then buying something else to drive.
