You can do it with the canned tunes when you get the evo and load a tune it will ask if you'd like to customize settings click yes and go to idle I think with edge you can only go up by 100 rpm increments but with the gryphon you can go up by 5 rpm increments.

thank you so much i appreciate it. So i did the gotts mod, put weather stip on the air filter lid, and cleaned the air filter and man that made my rpms go up a little, no more shaking when i put my truck in reverse and slightly tap the pedal! Now i just need a tuner, i heard that if you put a tuner on, you cant get your codes pulled at autozone and i also heard that they can mess up your computer causing you to need a new motor is that true?

Where, oh where did you hear this?!?!?

Total bunk, provided the tune is not aggressive to the mods you have in place.

Tons of steam? Me too. So my converters are ok?
I recently changed my warped intake manifold. Is there any way for
water to get into the exhaust from this point?

Replaced my fan blade a while back because I noticed one of my blades was missing a piece. That seemed to fix the shaking/hood vibration but my idle is still low, around 580. It runs ok but I've given up replacing parts. Im sure I've done more since this orig post. My current issue is a perfect start in the morning but struggles and starts weird when driven and warmed up. Don't know if its related or not but something still is'nt right. Sorry I don't have a specific answer
