Low fuel Light

Personally, I haven't pushed it over about 20 miles to e. A person in the above thread also says the fuel pump is cooled by the gas so I try to get gas asap when that beep starts. Plus its annoying to have to listen to the beep over and over.

Just get gas........
1. Gas does cool the pump, thus running it that low is hard on it.......
2. The light comes on via the fuel sending unit, which overtime can build gunk on it's resistance pad losing it's accuracy.
What ever happened to never letting the tank get below 1/4..... It doesn't save you any money to run the thing to empty.
