If you put a 3'' body lift on, does it still keep some rake in the truck? ANd would 35s fir with just a 3'' body lift?

sorry if these r stupid questions
Yes it does. It wud b the exact same as stock cuz all a body lift is is blocks between your frame and body. Yea they wud fit on just a 3 inch body lift but it would rub just like the leveling kit, at full crank but if u do both and get some back spaced rims it wudnt rub at all

Yeah, if you can stay away from a body lift, especially a 3" body lift. Just my two cents, but I think it'd look pretty tacky having one on a new(er) F150. It just doesn't look good at all. Plus it wouldn't really help you out if you want to take it off road like you said. I'd go with a 2.5" leveling kit and slap 35's under it. A body lift just 'lifts' the body off the frame, it doesn't give you added clearance from the ground like a leveling kit or suspension lift. But hey, thats just my opinion, I wont be driving your truck, you will.

Ok so from what it sounds like i wouldn't get a body lift because there seems to be a lot of negativity around them. The only reason i'm hesitant to put a leveling kit on is because like i stated before, ill be towing trailors and putting dirt bikes and sleds in the bed, so i dont want the back end ridin low.

Also if 35's are goin to rub at full steering then i dont want that. Is there something that would keep them from rubbing, or should i just go with 33's?

Right now i have 275/55 R20

A suspension or leveling kit won't get you added clearance from the ground either.... The only thing that increases ground clearance is. BIGGER TIRES....

With Gap Gaurds you can't even tell a truck has a body lift unless you are 5 feet away from it....

leveling kit with 25x12.50x18s will not turn great. maybe turn a little better than 3/4 of a turn but if you catch the body on the tread of the tire its going to bounce around like crazy. Basically, i seen a truck (not one of ours), pull out from my buddies tire shop here in town. New 3" leveling kit with 35s, yea, couldnt turn sharp enough to get out of the way of a semi....almost got nailed! Good thing the semi just turned onto the road. Just my opinion....33s and a leveling kit.

Yes suspension lifts and leveling kits do give u more clearance. With those lifts the whole frame is that much higher off the axles than it was previously which in turn let's you go thru the mud better and thru deeper mud too! But he is right that u can only have more clearance with the axle with bigger tires
