I wanted to get a rear drop down, hidden step for my f150. While having a spray in Bedliner put in, I told him to install a step. He said he couldn't because the step that fits the 2004-2008 doesn't fit early made 2004's. the undercarriage on the back end is different.

This is what I'm looking for. On this site it lists it as fitting a 2006-2008. Am I out of luck?

Look up "Amp Research". I have the retractable rear step that tucks up under the rear bumper on my 06 f150 and It helps a lot with my leveling lift kit and 35"s
