The kit gives you plenty of wiring to run through the dash and into the door panels. As others have stated, not a difficult kit to install, and inexpensive.

I would caution on buying a cheap power window kit. TRUCK'N magazine did a write-up 3 or 4 issues ago on an installation of power door locks and windows. They warned of cheaper power window kits that use a nylon fishing wire with plastic "*****" used to open/close the windows. These are prone to snap. The article suggested the stronger nylon "belt" and teeth type setup; much stronger.

So, in the catagory of power windows, if you buy cheal, you get cheap, and would end up doing it twice, costing you more in the long run.

do you know the name of the kits that truckin advised against?? the one ive looked up and found a good price on ebay on is made by Autoloc, it looks like a good kit and it says it cable driven not the plastic crap... here are a links

That ebay kit looks solid to me unless someone knows something negative about it. I might get it.

If you get it before I decide to go ahead let me know how it turns out. I dream of a day where the windows go down with the touch of a button lol

all you have to do is have a 12v source and a ground and conect all the wiring pretty easy the have connectors from the kit, the hardest part will be attaching the the actuator rods to the lock rod, not too bad youve just use your head a little
