Default looking for pics of 33 MT with 22" rims

Hey guys. I usually just lurk and search old posts for my info, but I can't seem to find anything one this. Thinking of putting on some 22" and running the 33x12.50r22 Toyo MT. Would like to see one done already before I spend my money on something like this.

Thanks for the help!

I tried to find some pics a few weeks ago of 22" on a set of 35" and didn't really have any luck. Someone did post pics of a truck they thought had them...

Sorry, i dont have pics, but trust me the look is what you want. I wish I had bought a new set of rims (22, i currently have 20's) before I ponied up the $2k for my 35x12.5R20 Mickey Thompson's. Dont get me wrong, they still look good, but Im sure they would look better 35x12.5R22. Just remember this, you will only have about a 5" sidewall on the tire (w/ the 33" MT you are wanting to put on), there fore allowing you to scrape your rims' lip on the curb or whatever else you are on. With the set up I have on my truck now, I have almost 8" of sidewall, and therefore I jump curbs all day w/out worry of hittin my rims. Just food for thought... mmmm, fooooood.

yeah right now I am running 35's on my stock 18's. It is nice not having to worry about curb rash at all.

Default hey

go to 4wheelparts.com and look at irok super swamper radials(sick tire!)

and toyo may have something

those are the only two i can think of for a 33 or 35 on a 22 inch rim

nitto has 22" tires as well. check out discount tire direct... they are a sponser here as well. They have several different tires in that size...

Good luck.. also.. if you go with a 22" rim... I would strongly think about going with a 35" tire for the extra rubber.... it will help your investment stay looking nice... plus give a better look, in my opinion.

Sorry to jack this thread, but I'm curious as to whether a guy can get his ECU 'programmed' so the speedo reads correctly with bigger tires??

^ who adjusts the speedo? if you buy an edge programmer you can set the tire size and gear ratio and that will give you the true mph but ford reprograms em. when i went in to the dealer and asked about it they said either 100 or 200 bucks and if you find a good deal you can get an edge for close to 200 and get more performance also so id just save for a programmer. a little info until you get your speedo changed if you go from stocksize to 35s its 10% off so if your doin 50 on the speedo its actually 55 and 60 is 66 and so forth
