Question Looking for muffler recommendations

I have a 2008 f150 4x4 5.4 v8. (Pics in my garage).
All thats on it is a tip on the exhaust from when I bought it. I want to change out the muffler to raise the exhaust volume. I was considering cherry bomb glasspacks, but from what ive heard they can get really annoying on longer trips. Now I am looking at getting the Flowmasters Super 44 muffler. If anybody has any info on this or another similar muffler, info an recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Flowmasters will drone on the highway too, and they're chambered so they don't bode the best for performance. Dynomax bullet, a short body magnapack, or Borla XR-1 or XS will up the volume, keep a good tone, and won't drone terribly.

Im running a Super 44 In place of my stock muffler with single exhaust and I really like it. Its not loud by any means, but sounds good. Its low and growly around 1500-3000 rpms and gets quieter when the truck down shifts. When you are on the highway you dont notice it with the radio on.

Id love to have full duals, but $400 compared to $80... I went with the single 44.

I went with the 18" Magnaflow into duals straight out the back and there is very little drone. Drove it back from FL and the wife didn't even complain...it mellows out very well once you hit 55mph.

If I went with a magnaflow Magnapack si/so and say a 18x3.5 tip would it sound ok? or is magnapack a nono for our trucks?

Theres so many options...
Round mufflers come in 4(magnapack),5,6, and 7 " variety and 14,18, or 22" length.
Tips come in 2.5-5" and 12-22" long
then you can get into oval and offset mufflers and different pipe sizes....
And thats just magnaflow's !!!
How do you ever decide????

^ Magnaflow is a yesyes on these trucks. Sounds better than chambered mufflers. The smaller muffler the louder the volume. I have a 5x8x22 and it's a little louder than stock. 18" is what comes with the kits they sell. 14" is pretty loud.
Youtube video clips help a lot in the decision.
