Looking for a hitch with the receiver below the crossbar, anyone know of one?

I'm also looking for a hitch, but I need only the receiver no cross bar or anything else to bolt to my bumper of my 93XLT. The bumper itself is rated for 8.k or 8.5k lbs towing weight. The bumper is a step bumper and it is reinforced around the step with a steel plate about 3/8 thick or better and riveted with about 18 to 20 rivets the bumper is as far as I know original equipment. Does anybody know if there is such thing. All I will be towing is pop up trailer which weights around a 1000 lbs. any help will be appreciated. Thanks

You should be able to find what you're looking for at any TSC, a trailer supply place, perhaps a U-Haul, maybe even Wal-Mart, something along those lines.

Well, I got the hitch today, and it is exactly as advertised The hitch appears to be very well built, the instructions were very clear, there are only 4 bolt points, and the installation was very simple. It took me right around 30 minutes to install by myself (and I was taking my time). It looks good, pretty much exactly what I wanted. Unless you look hard, the only part you can see is the actual receiver part for the drawbar
My only complaint is that the protective coating seems to be somewhat low quality; there were already a few chips in the coating when I pulled it out of the box. I used black touch-up paint to recover the chips, hopefully the coating will hold decently well. If not, I can always take it off and coat the whole thing in rubberized undercoating, but I hope I don't have to do that.
I would definitely recommend this hitch, primarily because it looks so much cleaner than others (aside from the factory hitch) that I have seen.
