Default looking to buy a 04-08 f150

well as the title says im in the market for a newer truck( i drive an obs). Now in my trucks gen there were only a few trims available, xl, xlt, lariat. i have tried to see what the difference between fx4 and lariat is, but i am not sure, honestly the only reason im asking is i want power windows and locks. something i wish my obs had. but i dont want leather, ill be happy with a cloth interior. i really love the look of this body style. so can someone tell me whats the difference between the xlt, fx4, and lariat in this generation id sure appreciate it

Xl: vinyl floor and seats, no power windows and locks, no tachometer and dark Argent bumpers and grill

Xlt: cloth seats, power windows and locks, chrome bumpers with body color grill

Lariat: leather interior, woodgrain dash, flow throw console with center shift ****, gold lower body color and bumpers, although some had chrome bumpers and were single color as opposed to the Arizona gold 2 tone

Fx4: 4X4 only, either cloth or leather, and only come with flow throw console with the center mounted shifter, 2 tone paint with dark grey bumpers and grille

BUT FROM WHAT YOU DESCRIBING IT SOUNDS LIKE AN XLT WILL SUIT YOU GOOD, HOPE I HELPED

Your very welcome, both are good choices, the fx4 models look pretty sporty are 4X4 only and 5 pass and 5.4 V8 only and the the Xlt is the middle child, but also comes in many variations, 5 pass or 6 pass, 4.6 V8 or the 5.4 V8, 4X2 or 4X4 and so on, always glad to help

Two FX4 models offered, The FX4 & FX4+. The plus came with heated leather, electronic climate, etc and is a lariat clone.

The regular FX4 is an XLT With a few added off-road features. (No chrome)

I've had an FX4 + and loved it apart from the centre shift, my knee rested on it constantly.

I have an FX4 now, it's tree shift & seats 6, allot better. Both 08's. I also have an 04 fX4 that's the regular XLT with a twist.

What's your budget?

Well I'd like to spend less than 10 grand I've seen these trucks all over the place, as cheap as 5,500 to as expensive 21,000

Here is a website that has the original sales brochures. If you read through the brochure it should tell you all the info you need.
