Default looking at 08 fx4

Hello,
I am going this afternoon to look at an 08 crewcab fx4. It has the flex fuel 5.4 and I wanted to ask is this a good engine? It has 97000 miles but at least from the pics looks spotless. I had an 05 lariat which I know is riddled with problems, so is the 08 any better? Anything with the flex fuel(issue wise) to be concerned about? Do these have the notorious cam phaser issues like the 05 I had did? That's why I got rid of the 05........too many issues.
thanks!

Ive seen the cam phaser issue all the way up to 2010 models but less frequently than the 04-05 models

It should be far less problematice as far as the common problems go. I can't speak on the flex fuel issue though
