So im thinking about getting some new tires. im thinking of doing it one of two ways. either just get some BFG AT ko's size 305/65-18 and mount em on my stock FX4 rims. the other option i was considering is getting some 17x8 ATX Mojave rims in that black Teflon coating. and mounting some 315/70-17 BFG AT's on it. i was wondering if there's anyone out there thats running thoose size tires on a 17x8 in rim with a back spacing of 4.5. will they fit alright without rubbing? i saw in the tire and wheel fitment guide that for a 35" tire on an 8" wide rim you should have 5.5" of backspacing, is that law though? haha
