Default Long tube headers

I'm thinking about putting headers on my wife's 2004 fx4 and don't know if I should put on long tube headers or shorty's any info on brands and pros and cons on lone tube headers or shorty's would help.

Everyone likes the OBX headers. But good luck those manifolds are in a PITA position. Easier just to cut the back 2 cats off and make it louder that way if there isn't a leak.

Those header studs like to break

I have gibsons shorty headers on my 08 FX4. I wouldn't say I noticed much HP but maybe a little noise? If I could go back in time I wouldn't have bought them and got long tubes instead
