Default Long trip pretty impressed, mods

Went to the Outer Banks, NC last week with my gal for the week (stayed in Avon...love the OBX). Before the trip i did a level kit, new tires, cleaned n spaced the FPDR, new serp belt, cleaned the throttle body and MAF and front brakes.
Here are some pics of the truck leveled and new tires (before/after):

Managed 15.2 mpg the entire trip (1500+ miles) with 75-80 mpg interstate drivin, stop n go (75 mph - stop interstate), sitting in traffic, idling, 4x4 use while driving on the beach, A/C on 95% of the time and overall driving it like a stole it. Truck never skipped a beat, ran awsome and was super comfortable. Only incident was someone nailed my passenger mirror and knocked the top mirror glass out causing it to smash.

Beach pics:

Also noticed my passenger carpet was damp, so i pulled it up to find the padding was soaked and drippin wet. Got it all dried out and found the AC drain was drippin inside so the part t fix it is on order. Also threw on rear pads since i ran outta time before i left for the beach. Also got these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Driver-LH-Passenger-RH-Set-Pair-Heat-Turn-Signal-Power-Side-View-Mirror-/260857803183?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories &fits=Year%3A2009%7CModel%3AF- to replace the dumbo ear towing mirrors, will be here saturday. Thats all for now! pics of mirrors saturday.

Those mirrors look sweet. They will fit your truck? I noticed on the link it says 09-12 trucks.

Man.... Tell me that's not salt water you're driving in... If so. You're crazy that stuff will ruin a truck faster then just about anything

just for the pic, i parked it and let a wave come up. water never went above the bottom of the wheels and it got washed quite a few times down there and 3 times since i been home. i refused to drive in the water, i know what salt can do (live in NEPA)

Lol the ocean is in my back yard... I use my driveway for my boat ramp. I've seen so many people ruin vehicles from salt water and stuff rusts so bad after. I won't even hardly take my truck on the beach except to put the boat in. Even the sand is full of salt and if you spin that sand up underneath and it gets wet or damp... Baddd lol
