I bought a Gryphon from a idiot who said it was unlocked, upon receiving i saw it was still programmed to his truck.

Anyways im tired of dealing with him, so what needs to happen here?
Do i send it to php to get flashed?
Or can Bill or Corey send me a download to do it myself at home?

sounds like a big headache to me, php will have to have the serial number and what not and im sure it will cost you...

you have to send it in and have it unlocked, i think it costs $150 to have this done.

HOLY HELL!!! 150 bucks, i paid 275 shipped for the whole programmer...
Well i guess ill see if i can send it back to him and have him detune his truck and send it back to me....

Well i bought it from a member on f150online using paypal.... Anything i can do with that???

Pretty sure you can contest the sale through paypal, since items received were not as advertised. Hope you saved all communication between the 2 of you.

Contact paypal, see what your options are.

My vote is to just return it, get your money back, and try somewhere else. Wait a few more paychecks and get a new one.

file a claim with paypal, immediately, the item was not as described, you thought you were buying a usable gryphon, not a vin locked one that is worthless to you.

they must have dropped it then, or it was edge that was 150, eitherway, he shouldn't have to pay. that still seems awfully cheap, get your truck setup, take it out, sell it to your buddy, if unlocking is that cheap, why not.
