Can I swap an 07 radio and dash tray with the aux jack into my 04 SCrew and be able to use the aux on the new radio head? Will it be recognized as I scroll thru input options with the left side of the MEM rocker on the steering wheel audio controls? There's a totaled '07 SCrew in the area that's being parted out.....

Thanks for your assistance and yes, I have searched the forum under "radio swap" and "Aux radio" but could not find a definitive answer.

if you can get the radio for free, or at least test it, i would would just do that, im not 100% cause i got an aftermarket which can control my ipod through the screen

OK, didn't realize you had access to the whole harness. You should be golden if you pull the radio and grab the 16 pin connector on the back of the radio and anything connected to it (I assume just the tray, but you might be able to grab sirius at the same time.

Steering controls in my 06 go through the aux options so you'll be good there too.
