Default Line-X and wheel wells

Has anyone put line-X in the weelwells.

My 08 F150 has the back wheel wells painted the same color as the truck but not as good. I already have rock chips and such in the paint.
I am thinking about having them sprayed by line-x. They want $60 a wheel well to do it.

Has anyone had any in put about this idea?

I was thinking the same for my 08. I heard that some have luck with spary on (in cans) do it yourself type. I am still looking at all options. Will let you know.

I was quoted $60 for each side so $120 to me inst that bad.

That home spray on would be about $20 and then add in my time and frustration and I don't have a place that is all that good to do it so I am thinking the 120$ may be worth it

That is if no one has any real bad experiences with it

There used to be a customized newer bodystyle Mercury Cougar painted with yellow bedliner spray around here.

As far as lining the wheel wells it should be fine if the shop preps it right. My brother has a Line-X bedliner and it takes a beating and still looks good.

We did the do it yourself bedliner on his old truck and that crap peeled off whenever something touched it even though we spent an entire day prepping it like the instructions said to.

He line-x'ed everywhere? Little much IMO... I got my bed done right away though, that stuff is tough as hell. I would be interested to pics of wheelwells if anybody has it done. I wonder how much would it cost to do rocker panels too... I know there's those little plastic cover pieces down there, but I would have more faith if it all was covered.

Those DIY spray-on's are sh*t. I've seen friends trucks get those, they peel after a few years, sometimes sooner. Guy i work with had his bed done (non Linex!) shop few years ago... he has big chunks missing
