Like Christmas morning, only more expensive
Finally settled on new boots and pulled the trigger.
I had narrowed it down to Toyo and Cooper after weeks of research and settled on the Cooper ST Maxx that was $200 cheaper and had road hazard warranty and rebalancing through the dealer I got them from.
Sad at my age that this excites me but it was like Christmas morning
I went a little more narrow than my last set but a tiny bit taller. I had 33 12.5 17 Mickey Thompson Baja MTs and went to the Cooper ST Maxx 295 70 17. I like the fit but they rub my mud flaps on full lock. I think some trimming of my oversized flaps will fix that.

Wheels are old, just new boots. In fact the wheels are really starting to show their age but I use my truck like a truck. It does not have an easy life and shows best from 50' away

Aww well, I get excited for new tires. I felt like a little kid when I put my nittos on. For being street tires and nittos I couldn't beat it at $123 a tire! Cheaper to get tires for a 20 inch wheel than it is for my old ranger that had 15s!

What Wheels are those? I'm looking at Ion Alloys that look just like those. I can only find them in a 17" which is ok, but they're 0 offset and I'm wondering how muck 33s would stick out from the wells.
