Default Lifting the Rear

I just need some advice on anyone who has lifted there truck. I already have a 3 1/2 inch block, lift shackles, and an add a leaf but the rear of the truck still sits about an inch lower than the front. I want to fix that by either putting in a 5 inch block or getting replacement leaf springs. My questions are....Do I have to replace my rear brake lines so that dont get over extended and I want to avoid driveshaft trouble due to an increased angle so should I get a new driveshaft or put in a custom carrier bearing spacer (2 piece driveshaft)??? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

If you want quality, I'd get new springs and a custom 2 price driveshaft, especially of you flex, or are loaded down a lot.

If its a cruiser. Just get someone to lengthen your driveshaft a bit, throw the block in and call it a day.

Im afraid of just throwing a block in there. I have been looking online and saw these helper springs that go on top of your leaf springs. Maybe they could help me get that small lift I need. Im also getting a boat soon so ill be towing it alot and the helper springs would only help with that. Anyone ever use or hear about them?

I tend to use my truck alot more that just cruising in it and id rather spend the money on something instead of take the cheap way out. So ill probably get the custom driveshaft eventually and the rear leaf packs as well. Just worried about overextending the brake lines.

Helper springs only have weight on them when you have a load.

Buy deaver springs made to the amount of lift you want.

I was thinking about that and saw that sky jacker and atlas also make custom leaf packs. Any feedback on those 2? They are a little cheaper.

It's up to you man. Although I do suggest you Ask if they can make you some heavier duty springs to handle towing a little bit better
