how much am i lookin to spend on a 6 in lift installed for an 06 f150 2wd STX

well you'd be looking at either a fabtech or a pro comp lift. depending on shop labor and how much they sell you the lift for, anywhere from 1600 to 2300 bucks, if you are mechanically abled putting on a 2wd lift is quite easy compared to a 4x4, which isn't even hard either.

The BDS 6” suspension lift I am putting in will cost me $2,000 and a lot of beer.

I got my Pro Comp kit for $1300. Its a stage one with the spacers which I regret getting but its not as bad as I thought. If you are just looking for a cheap and reliable lift I would get this one but I wont buy it again because I off road a good amount and I want to try out Fabtech because i heard good things about their lifts. If you are going to install it yourself make sure you have air tools and a good day if you do it by yourself. I ran into to too many problems with out the help of air tools.
