Default lift kit

Hey guys a buddy of mine has a 05 fx4 with the 5.4 and is wanting to run 35s. How much lift Will he need to do this and what's the cheapest setup available?

2.5" leveling kit in the front and maybe some trimming.

OK thanks man he wants no rubbing though so he said he'd like a 4". I saw they have the 4" and 6" lift for those trucks.

I'm running a rough country 2.5" level in front/ 1" block in rear with 20x9's and 35x12.50's. Had to trim the valence a little but not too bad. Doesn't rub at all now. And btw mine is 2wd so it sits lower than a 4x4 would leveled

I have a 2" leveling kit on my 08 4x4. 20x9 wheels with a 0 offset, 35x12.50 tires and have zero rub. Didnt have to trim any. It all depends on the offset of the rims. The lower/less offset, the more probable rub.

OK thanks man I'll let em know. Also not sure but how much lift would it take to fit 37s?

6 inch lift , once you lift, you always want more .i had a 2.5 inch level with 35s on for a year , then right before thanksgiving i installed a 6 inch rcd lift kit with 6 inch bilstein shocks with no spacers , the ride is awesome , 2005 fx4
