I dont want to hijack thread but, this question is relevent I think....whats the best material to use (spacer), I see them selling steel, aluminum, and nylon.

Steel is good aluminum is ok nylon is crap

U won't have any settling with steel or aluminum. As far as performance for both unless you are using and seriously abusing the front end they are equivalent. The aluminum looks nicer if you keep all the under carriage nice and pretty for shows. All HBS had in 2" was aluminum when I got mine. Haven't seen anything bad yet.


Nylon will settle, crack, rip, or tear under stress over time.
