Leveling Kit/Rear Block Question
Im going to get a 2.5 inch hbs leveling kit for my 04 lariat, and was wondering whats the point of geting a rear block? i see all these people getting a rear block on their trucks but idk why, and i need to know if i need to get one for mine.

i ran a 3in in the front and a 2.5 inch in the rear. i ordered mine through hammerhead 4x4 on ebay and paid right around $70 for it and installed it myself. Once i installed the leveling kit on my truck with 3" front 2.5" rear it actually made my truck level instead of having a slight slat.

Get the AUOSPRING 2.5" Level. It is the best. It does not bind up your UCA's. You should be able to lift the front 2.5" and sit level. If you don't like how it sits add a 1" rear block or buy a 3" block and eliminate your factory block. That would give you a 1" rake which looks fairly good. I have tried other level kits and Autospring is by far the best.

My truck had a 2.5" front kit when I bought it. It sat close to 1/4" higher in the front than the rear, which achieved a terrible look. I bought the Readylift block and now the rear sits over 1/2" higher.
I actually wish my rear sat just a touch higher still, I rarely use this truck to haul much, but it does not take much weight in the rear to make it look stupid...
