Leveling kit q's
i havent seen any threads about leveling kits causing problems with the cv joints. i had a 2.5" kit on my old tacoma and the cv boots would slpit on me. has anyone had a problem with leveling kits and front ends? I dont want to put really big tires on, i just dont like how the back sits so high...

I had a 2006 tundra before my f-150. I had a ready lift and toytec leveling kits on it. Both kits did the same thing. The ready lift was probably because they failed to send the diff. drop kit. Their mishap cost me several CV axels before we diagnosed the porblem. I have no experience with the f-150 leveling kits, but from what I have read 2-2.5 inch is all you should do safely. 3 inch puts too much stress on the suspension.
I have read a lot of guys in here go with the 2.5 autospring kit or the Hell Bent Steel kits with great luck. My buddy in Spokane has a Daystar kit on his f-150 and had it for 2 years and has had no issues with it.
