Default Leveling kit parts replacement

So I'm going to put a 2.5in level on my f150. Wat parts do you guys recommend swapping out. I know ball joints for sure. Is there anything else you recommend swapping out while I'm at it

If your going 2.5"s I would do a "uniball uca" but I can't tell you what brand. 2.5"s is quite a bit of difference in the angle of the ucas

If he wants to spend $700 on upper control arms...

Regular ball joints/upper control arms will work just fine. You may want to replace struts if they haven't been touched in a long time. Check the springs to make sure they're not broken. You can also hit the frame with some undercoating spray paint if you have an issue with rust in your area.

Just make sure the boots are in good condition and not ripped.

Yes^^
If you go with bilsteins and a 2.5 level..
Upper Carms..
Coil springs... Highly recommended
Coil spring/ strut mounts.
New struts.
Sway bar end links.
I have a 2.5" level, bilsteins set to zero lift, moog HD coils and a Monroe strut mount cap..

Looks like the vice grips worked well for you. I didn't even think about that. Now it's too hot to mess with mine outside. 115. Have to wait till October.

The job was a bitch!! I took a lot of precautions to make sure the spring didn't blow off the strut and disfigure me.. Leveling kit parts replacement-image-2329128742.jpg I ended up cutting it off with a sawzall.

The whole reason I had to salvage the struts was because the spring perch is unavailable unless you buy a new OEM strut.. I was all set with $360 for 2 spring perches.. So I had no choice but to go in retrieve my old ones..

. Used a moving blanket and some soft dirt in my yard to dampen any disasters..

Wow those bilsteins look great !!!!! I've conversed with techrep about me having a 6" rough country lift to see which struts to get and make sure that the bilsteins would work but if the RCX lift keeps everything factory height then they should work just fine
