Default Leveling kit installed! Now some questions.

I got around to installing my 2'' Autospring leveling kit. It didn't take long and for the most part was very straight forward. I do have some questions, however. Keep in mind I haven't gotten an alignment yet.

I noticed when I hit SOME bumps, not all, I hear a clunk sound from the drivers side front wheel. Does the kit require any "setting in" period? Should I hear any noise vs stock? I checked and double checked everything was tight. Used a large cheater bar with all of my weight on it for the huge nut/bolt at the bottom.

Anyway, here are some pics.

yes you need a wheel alignment as well as you may need a camber kit, mine did with a 3" leveling kit.

Yours seems very noise high for just a 2" bro... You sure they sent the right one? If they accidentally sent you a 3" the noise your hearing could be your coil spring contacting your upper a arm when it drops

275/65-18. Stock FX4 wheels/tire size.

And I thought it looked a little high too...but the box says 2'' lift. Maybe they put the wrong one in the box? Or the rear end suspension could be a little more worn. The previous owner did a lot of towing/hauling.

Nice ride, and I'm guessing the Mustang is yours as well? I'd say get the alignment done. They'll tell you if you have any issues.

You can't see the spacer on top of his strut so I'd say it's a two inch.Leveling kit installed! Now some questions.-image.jpg
