You're putting it on top of a spring. I'm really not sure why....I can only guess that the added pressure on the spring causes it settle. Mine came down almost 1/2 inch the first year.

I used Bilstein 5100 leveling shocks.


Install is probably a lot more involved then a leveling block, but I liked the idea of upgrading my shocks at the same time. Plus I think you get improved travel.

Also have the 2.5" RC on mine and love it, no need to spend the extra money on the whole "HD Aluminum, billet, stainless" BS mine works just fine and was perfect height, overall easy install outside of leverage with a decent size crowbar.

Hellsbent steel makes a good leveling kit. For around 100 I think. 2.5 or 2 inch are the options.
