Level or tires first?

Beer, Boats, and Trucks.
I was thinking about doing a Bilsteins lift, but I might just pull the trigger on a 2" RC leveling lift with 3" block and struts for rear. $199 is hard to beat, and honestly it might be worth seeing how I like the truck like that without spending $500+ on new struts and other things. Plus for $199, the RC kit gets a lot of great reviews!

You may want to go with Bilstein 5100 leveling shocks if your truck has 80K miles. This way you can level up to 2 inches and have new shocks at the same time. These should let you clear a 33" tire on a 4x2. Just a thought!

Neither new tires, nor new rims require an alignment. Neither of those has any geometric change to your front suspension.
If you are getting an alignment after new tires/wheels you are wasting money unless you have a known issue which has since been corrected.

Autoplicity was quoting me super low for the bilsteins but I did some research on them and found a lot of poor feedback about them, so I would try out AutoAnything. They seem to have the cheapest I've found.

Mine was only the 2 inch metal spacers placed on top of the struts. Very simple for the most part. I attempted to do it myself but I could not break the bottom strut bolt loose and didn't have a tool to do it. I had everything taken off except that stupid bolt. I finally gave up and took it to Minco.
