Level Kit, Bilsteins and Alignment
Took my truck to my local mechanic who has always been honest and fair with me to have an alignment done. He told me that because of my leveling kit (2.5") he couldn't do a front end alignment. He said that when they put it on the hoist the spacer prevents the suspension from sagging properly so the couldn't do the alignment. After I put the kit on I took it to the Ford dealer and they did an alignment with no problem. Has anybody heard of this before?
The other thing is that I am due for new struts (130,000 miles) and was considering taking the leveling kit off and replacing the current struts with the Bilsteins that level the front end. Is this better for the geometry of the suspension or does it not really matter at this point and I should just go with standard struts?

won't let the suspension sag ?? with 130K on your truck I would just go with coil overs and be done.. you get new coil springs and struts in one..
